Using Dronenet view messes distance to portal and disables "Scan Portal" menu from normal view
When you use the Dronenet to view and hack portals and then come back to normal view the "Scan Portal" menu gets disabled for nearby portal (range 40.1 - 50m) and it just shows a dialog "You are too far away from this Portal to contribute."
You need to be less than 40 meters from the portal before the Portal Scan menu is active.
I quess that in normal view the Prime uses location and distance values that were in the Dronenet remote view.
Also when you return from the Dronenet view and long press and try to hack a portal in the normal view it sometimes shows a portal name from the Dronenet view.
Prime restart does not help.
There were Portal Scans available before using the Dronenet view.

im confused you appear to awser your own qustion, must be within action range of portal to scan....
Seems you are right. @KarM3L
I uninstalled and re-installed Ingress Prime again and selected Scan Portal from menu for portal that was about 45 meters away.
Did not use Dronenet after re-install.
And it indeed showed "You are too far away from this Portal to contribute." dialog.
This must have been changed in latest release, I am pretty sure that before I was able to select and scan portals that were more than 40 meters away. I might be wrong though.
Thanks for a comment.
