The issue with Android 10 (known as Q during its beta) at the time was compatibility with not just redacted but also Prime.
New security features with Q beta were added that prevented redacted to view MAC addresses for Android devices. This created the potential for your account to be flagged when using redacted. From my understanding, you were fine if you could get Prime working.
Personally, I haven't had issues with using 11 beta with Niantic's apps. However, I agree with the topic at hand with communication on beta versions.
Also worth keeping in mind that Niantic officially states that Ingress (and I'm sure their other apps) is not supported on beta versions. So if something goes wrong, or Ingress doesn't work well, etc, that's the risk you'll be taking.
That may be the case, but historically, playing the game on beta releases of Android in the past leads to trouble with your account. Niantic also does not support it, so trying to play on a beta release is done at your own risk. Let Niantic do the beta testing themselves.

Now that Android 11 beta is available,
we'd like Niantic to clarify its position.
Is it OK to use a scanner on Android 11 beta?
I'm asking because an agent would've been banned if they used on Android 10 beta and Niantic informed us so.
I believe a scanner will be supported on Android 11 (officially released.) Let me know if I'm wrong.
ive heard of no issues yet those that are on beta 11..
Given the history of Android beta's and Ingress, I would think you should always just wait for the official release.
The point of these beta releases is to make sure apps work on full release.

The not working properly bit isn't a huge deal, I assume gradual beta updates will resolve them, banning is my concern.
