Increased inventory would be great in nonsubscription model with possibility to get it free by grind (you can use recurse system).
In subscribtion model there should be "rental keylockers" only. It will give some advantage to paying people but won't be gamebreaking. Honestly - people who need more room for keys are people who are spending real money for travels and farms. We will pay for it.
I would pay for a webpage to share my missions that I have done. Many missions players would be pay too. But increasing the inventory is too much pay to win. If that comes the use of rucksacks (another account for storage) is in my eyes okay.
What if they remove item drop from the game? Backpack account would be useless. Items would be transferred like in Pokemon, by being close to the person and performing a transfer between the account, which is a lot more trackable. If the transfer appears in comm every backpack will be spotted.
Until they get the game to an actual stable point, subscriptions just won't be an option for me. If I can't play the game, 3k inventory doesn't **** any good.
Currently waiting to see how Niantic is going to deal with all of the agents who haven't been able to recharge or hack in the past 24 hours and lost their sojourner of thousands of days.
I see people in different chats on telegram wanting to go for a morning walk and play Ingress but regularly can't due to whatever you are constantly doing to the servers. Constantly breaking the habit to play.
Now ongoing issues since earlier today.. very slow and laggy scanner.. just in time when they sent out survery about paying and nobody can almost play now... :s
Actually that makes sense. I prefer that the subscription give 500 slots for keys only than 1000 for anything. The damage and unbalance would be smaller, but still a great advantage.
key fun is endgame. We need to be aware that ingress isnt new game and it's hard to get few people into a car for some action requiring 1000s of keys. Giving more keylockers in subscription model can keep ingress alive. Remember that still you need to be well organized when keeping keys in keylockers if you just want to recharge some portal. So yeah - it is advantage but this kind of advantage that won't break a game, just give us some new opportunities.
More inventory slots should be just available for everyone. Paid as quick solution or grind - using e.g. recursion and onix multipiers. So everyone can get it without pay2win.
So let's go against the entire premise of the game. Instead of encouraging people to go out and play, encourage them to sit on their couches and play? That's just kind of sad.
I think drones in general are a bad idea. There are so many other ways that the game could go. Sitting on your rear really shouldn't be one of them.
I think Brian doesn't really realize that most agents don't even live in scanner sight of a portal anyway. And if you did, why would you want to remote play?
Once you fully add in the ability to do normal portal actions (gain keys, capture, link, field, and destroy) remotely, then it's just Niantic sanctioned spoofing.
Have you used the drone yet? It would have limitations obviously, you can't just sit at home and play, and it would work much better when you're out playing actively.
Imagine a dude buying a subscription for +1000 inventory before an anomaly, then gathering himself 1000 Aegis from his generous community, and going out to the field. Now he alone can offset a few agents of a free tier... Ingress like that is just unimaginable for me.
I have. I don't have to leave the house to farm L8 Xmps and cubes. I can do it from the comfort of my couch or even laying in bed. At 500 odd AP per gylph, I'm just going in circles.
They would have to make that at anomalies everyone are equal at 2000 inv nothing more nothing less.. otherwise the team with most paid subscribers would win so that would really be not fair...
I'm afraid that removing item drop would damage the game as it is one of the basic aspects in any operation or event.
Also, as you pointed out, the only scenario for someone to pay for this, aside from the badge, would be the extra space WITHOUT extra accounts. Many many people have access to backpacks, legal or not, and they are all free.
Also, for example, I would be one of those interested in extra keylocker, but I have already learned to play without them and I'm not that active lately, so paying for extra inventory would only be interesting for me if I increased my activity on a daily basis.
I see too much effort for a feature that will bring little progress, but hey! money is money :)

Another idea for subscription worthy feature without breaking the game:
Personalised pattern on field. I take the subscription I have acces to personal patterns my field would appear with the pattern I choose on a list ?

*sigh*

What kind of key hoarder are you? 700 key space is not enough? Wow!
Actually that makes sense. I prefer that the subscription give 500 slots for keys only than 1000 for anything. The damage and unbalance would be smaller, but still a great advantage.
people planing some actions keeps 2000+ keys.

MK2 drone that can destroy portals etc. Lets change things up, gameplay is stagnate.
That's just officialization of spoofing. But maybe if they add that they will put more effort into fighting real spoofers...
Doing remote actions on 1 portal within view distance once an hour is hardly "officialization of spoofing"
using ingame feature/s no matter what it will or can do is not spoofing.. stop saying that its not true.
Attacking and linking? Yes it is.
Spoofers can just go there by spoofing and leaves the drone, destroy a strategic portal and them claim that went there "droning"...
Drone is fine the way it currently is, just hacking once a hour, no keys. Anything else is already too much.
Dronenet has huge potential to be an awesome metagame on it's own, no need to replace all agent actions.
So let's go against the entire premise of the game. Instead of encouraging people to go out and play, encourage them to sit on their couches and play? That's just kind of sad.

did anyone get the email ? i havent got...

I would like to know all the missing local unique portals

It feels beyond lazy.

Considering that anomalies are also a paid thing, that was already a truth long before.
This is why all items should be no drop and remote recharging should be nerfed
