Bad Portal?

Can we get tools that will help get rid of and reject portals that are already created?

In my area we have portals on School grounds, duplicate portals, portals that no longer exist, restaurants (Generic Business) Police stations and more. When I report I always get "there's not enough evidence"

How can there not be enough evidence when there is a portal in the middle of a K-12 School and I put in the text that I feel it should be removed due to location and that it's in a School? Or duplicate potential with the same name and almost the same image?

  • Once you have received your rejection email, you can further appeal the removal here:

  • I know and understand that however the point of my post was to simplify all that.

A few years ago I had a serious issue of a portal that had a half **** teen or preteen (only in a pair of boxers) at his house somehow got approved. I reported it and nothing happen and again and again. Have no idea why Niantic didn't do anything it seemed obvious this was a bad portal. Back then we had a G+ community however I didn't want to post it there. Why? I felt this was a pedafiles dream come true having an ap that shows where a young teen lives and what they looked like almost nude.

Again my point is let's fix this problem by adding features that tell and show why a portal should be rejected that will help Niantic or OPR reviewer's.

We can still have that forum that you posted just in case something slips through the cracks.

  • I know and understand that however that wasn't my point. My point is let's fix the system so we won't need that form as much.

A few years ago I had a serious issue with a portal. Somehow a portal of a half **** teenager or preteen lying on his bed got approved. I reported time after time and got the "there isn't enough evidence" seemed obvious to me. However Niantic didn't get it? Back then we had the same thing but it was in a G+ community. I really didn't want to post it there. Why? Well I felt this was a pedafile dream come true an ap that tells them where a teen lives and what they looked like half ****.

So let's fix the problem and add opinions on why we feel a portal should be rejected and make it more obvious to Niantic and or OPR reviewer's to reject these portals.
