Linking fast leads to strange inability to link to valid targets
Haven’t seen this elsewhere, so:
If you have more reachable target portals than available outbound link capacity at your origin portal, and you rapidly link using the fast-forward button (HUGE THANKS FOR THAT BTW) then the client happily lets you plough through all the target keys as if they were all thrown links.
Once it hits the outbound link limit, it stops making actual links, which is correct.
BUT the client still seems to remember the links you’d swiftly asked for, even though it couldn’t make them.
So when you then add a SoftBank Ultra Link, to get more outbound link capacity, it won’t allow you to make those valid additional links, because of that erroneously stored state.
A client restart (still >20s compared to 7s reliably on Ingress original) allows you to make those links.
Evidently the erroneous state is retained in the running client only and not in the server or client cache.
