Please change Comms back to how they used to be in the old scanner

I love Ingress. I had no problems with the old scanner and then Redacted. I however was an early proponent to Prime seeing its potential and patient for it to catch up to the stability of the existing scanner.

Today i play Ingress on Prime and i can happily say that i really like Prime and think Niantic has done a stella job. There's still one thing i'm waiting for you guys to fix though and this one thing really bothers me. It's the comms. First off i just want to mention that i love the new chat tab within comms. Obvious improvement that i honestly can't believe wasn't implemented years ago.

Here's what's wrong with Comms. Withing the activity tab it scrolls back to the most recent. Ingress is a competitive game and monitoring local activity is part of the game. When you are scrolling through the comms history and it keeps **** back to the last action the moment you stop scrolling, it is very very frustrating.

Sometimes it doesn't even make sense. Scrolled so far and see a link made to an unrecognised portal. Click it, view it. Satisfied and exit.... Hold on, no longer viewing the activity which you were previously, you've been returned to the most recent activity again (even if there's been no more recent actions since you begun scrolling.)

I live rural and in a less active area so i don't even see the worst of it. In the city where there's more players, it scrolls back every time someone does something. Reviewing activity history is basically nonexistent in the city.

Niantic. I love what you guys have done with Prime, but this app behaviour is completely unwelcome. It's not the most obnoxious thing in the world so i don't see too many other people bringing it up but i've mentioned it to quite a few other agents and everyone so far agrees that they'd prefer it to behave differently.

Please change it and remove the scroll back. Or at least consider it and consult the rest of the user base on what they'd prefer.

Thank you
