My #myfavePortal is Colonna Pizzuta (The Pizzuta Eloro Column). This impressive historic column in South East Sicily near Syracuse is dated V sec b.C. Its origin isn’t sure actually, there are two theories: the first attributes its realization to celebrate Syracuse’s army victory against Gela or the Athenian expedition, the second theory is based on the discovery under the column of the remains of two soldiers and so think that Colonna Pizzuta is a funerary monument. The monument was then restored by Ferdinando I delle Due Sicilie in 1789.
The attached drawing was realised by the painter, sculptor and architect Jean Houel who visited the place in 1789.
Ingress Agents from Avola-Noto cities can use this Portal as a strategic point thanks to its position not easy to reach during some seasons, and visit this place is always a great experience.
#MyFavePortal is Akaroa Heads Lighthouse. It's a strategically important anchor for Christchurch, New Zealand, and additionally most of the country. It's comms challenged and is about two and a half hours from the city. One of my favorite memories of the game is when we had plans to BAF the city with this as an anchor, but within 3 hours of me capturing the portal, Blue agents had taken it down.

A Wayspot that at first glance is a good laugh, but worth some reflection.
It's overdue for an expansion of title.
