When can we get more keylockers?
Dear Nia,
Since the amount of portals has exploded, the amount of keys in our inventory has also exploded, when can we expect to get more keylockers?
Also, since duplication has been turned of by removing the Quantum capsules, it would be more then fair to have more space to store keys.
Thank you,

Re: After all, what is the function of Machina?
Machina will be the inal straw, that broke my long run since the start of year 2 of the game. I weathered all feeble attempts to ruin the game, survived what damages Pokemon did to this game adding portals at every crack in a sidewalk and manipulating Ingress using the up voting/down voting. Replicating quantum gone. Now this. I AM OUT.
Re: Machina is just killing player engagement.
So basicly with lack of players it was easy to do big fields. But now the competition is back and its getting harder again. For me it looks like machina is doing great work simulating players. Good job.
Re: Recognizing the Contributions of Different Ingress Anomaly players
Reading through this thread, some people need to remember that before the pandemic, "contribute" in an Anomaly sense, meant as little as hacking a portal and leaving.
All these people claiming things like "Spends 3 minutes recharging" are vastly overestimating the contribution required for what they claim is necessary, and vastly underestimating the contribution and value to a 4hr recharge party followed by a BBQ, for building the Ingress community as a whole.
And really, it's a digital shiny. Getting worked up over gatekeeping other people's access is simply an attempt to justify someone's own worth as measured by badges.
And before people make any "You must not have much of a profile" claims like usual, feel free to look at my profile. No-one who knows anything estimates your worth by your profile.
Re: Recognizing the Contributions of Different Ingress Anomaly players
Another thing: People have asked for tiered anomaly medals before, and it never happens. You know why? Because Niantic knows that tiered medals won't increase Anomaly participation, and are therefore a waste of time.
In fact, tired medals anomaly medals would probably decrease anomaly participation in some ways, because there are players who won't play for tiered medals if the top tier is unattainable to them.
People asking for tiered anomaly medals are insufferable because they're so desperate for extra bit of glory that they keep asking for things that would be bad for Ingress overall. Get a life, guys.
Re: Machina is just killing player engagement.
The way Machina links makes it very tedious to clear. It ends up being "go here to ki ll these 3 portals, drive half a mile down the road to ki ll 2 more, walk up a trail to ki ll one, drive 2 miles to ki ll another 4, etc. etc." It's like that player who just goes around annoying the rest of their locals by throwing horrible derps, on steroids.
Re: After all, what is the function of Machina?
Very poor example - the Japan fields lines are over ocean....
Re: No more codename changes?
Players definitely have the right to request their name changes without being questioned by other players. Especially if its an issue dealing with harassment and being targeted by other players on multiple Niantic platforms. I myself have debated changing my name in either PoGo or here so that they don't share the same name and that it reduces the chance of a salty person targeting me in two separate platforms.
New character badges. AI?
I think character badges or a fantastic way of supporting this game in trade for something entirely cosmetic. I've bought every single one on offer till about a while ago.
But the recent ones that fairly obviously come rolling out stable diffusion or some other comprable generative AI... i'm not forking over twenty bucks for the result of a prompt.
Can we go back to having a human make these?
Re: Machina is just killing player engagement.
While it's fun, its also annoying. I did like 230+ Machina captures over the weekend, but killed many more. There were many that were misplaced portals, or on closed trails, or in in accessible areas.
Machina is actually good at one thing. Highlighting portals that cannot be accessed. Well, actually one other thing, all the junk portals out there. So many junk portals and portals that should of never hit wayfarer to begin with. Schools, stuff like Big Box stores (Walmart, Best Buy, ect), chain stores (O'Reilly Auto Parts), Fast Food (McDonalds, Pizza Hut, Dominos, ect) plus soo many others. Seeing Trail Locator B linking to Trail Locator A is also great fun at 2 AM.
Also finding loads of portal names that are just horrible.
"Sports bar with great family food"
"lighted baseball field for guest at the park to use"
"Slippery when wet"
