Re: New Wayspots to India - Disadvantaged Ingress players.
I first posted in wayfarer only and got no proper response. Since it is Ingress only issue made a post here.
Re: Niantic actively encourages cheating.
Multi accounting is pretty well known throughout the game. Just nothing Niantic can do about it. There is no evidence you could possible submit to prove it. I've seen it, continue to see it and will always see it. It's simply how some players have chosen to play. Is it unfair? Absolutely. Can it be stopped? Nope. All you can do is accept it and move on. It makes the game look more popular than it actually is. When one player plays with four accounts the numbers look pretty good. But in reality the game is dead.
Re: ERROR: Unable to request a Vps Activation
Before it broke, you could activate 10 wayfarers every 48 hours. Before the restriction was added 10 days ago, there was no limit.
Now, when you click the Activate button, if looks like it works, but it does nothing.
Re: Give us Kinetic Capsules
Kcaps are a nice bonus, but they're not essential to core gameplay. Kcaps are basically just a shortcut to get gear without having to hack it, although there's the occasional case where that isn't true (e.g. the current beacons). Niantic needs to monetize Ingress somehow, and selling something non-essential like kcaps is a good way for them to bring in revenue.
21 kcaps a month would be 63 programs a month, which would produce 315 hypercubes per month. That's a lot. Probably nobody would ever buy kcaps if we got that many for free.
Re: Give us Kinetic Capsules
Noone should give us smth just for free. Sad but true - everyone wants money, and Niantic wants money too. That's why core ad exists (fortunately not on startup, and i prefer little banner on top not fulscreen one). That's why flipcards are sold despite Nia promised not to sell vr gear. That's why this situation with kinetics happened.
But what Nia real can do - rise chance of getting "rare" kinetic capsule to make chance of getting them equal to "rare" item... or at least mark them as "very rare" (i'd say even extremely rare).
Re: [Change] Shift AP bonuses for portal resonator placements
The only way I'd be good with this, is if Niantic would effing fix the effing laggg. Fully deploying portals gets old with the laggg. But still a silly idea and we all know they aren't fixing the lagggggggg.
Re: The Enlightened have won ANOTHER anomaly series.
Unfortunately niantic support for ingress and player count have both been in steady decline since 2019. I don't think anyone will argue with me about that.
So don't expect anything special from a company that won't even respond at all to player concerns like this.
Niantic actively encourages cheating.
Niantic has continued to ignore and not actively address in-game cheating elements during Ingress events and while expanding its other services.
We have witnessed numerous instances of spoofing and multi-account cheating on the forums and elsewhere that have not been resolved, and users who are actively engaged in normal gameplay have reported them, but they have been ignored.
This will not only adversely affect our other services, but our current services will not be able to operate normally, and this will definitely affect other services as we expand other services with the same factors.
Also, the customer service bot is not performing well enough to make me wonder if it's even verified.
At the very least, there's no way to track when certain users are consistently reported or when cheating is found in certain elements of the game.
Despite the game being 11 years old, the administration has no intention of fixing this.
How long must legitimate users continue to be victimized?
Re: 8 km linking under field still possible
Someone forgot to turn it off. Stay tuned for a response in the form of something fruity to do with lore or something.
Re: [Change] Shift AP bonuses for portal resonator placements
@KonnTower I'm not sure I understand why you think there should be more of an incentive for fully deploying than there is now, or more precisely why you think not fully deploying should be rewarded less than it is now. If your goal is to encourage more walking then I can say with certainty that single deploys do more to promote that than fully deploys do. I just spent ten days wandering around London, Hannover, and Amsterdam, and I can single cap without breaking my stride but fully deploying requires me to stop walking because the server interaction is too slow to fully deploy while walking briskly.
It seems like you want to create an incentive because it's the way that you like to play, and because you don't like that others play differently... is there more to it than that?
