Have the purchased medal removed
I no longer want to have the badges I purchased. Is it possible to have them removed somehow via support?
Re: Cryptic Memories: Global Op [Discussion]
Or weather related. This weekend is a high of like 5F I think for the midwest. We won't be above freezing for more than a week. It's not the time, its the weather. If it were warmer, even 40F I'd be out hitting the parks deploying like crazy. But not when its hypothermia weather.
Re: What’s the point in playing when…
How about you just boycott because you have brought up the idea more than once.
Hint: It did nothing with Pokémon Go.
Re: Tumbleweed and the dusty road...
Heeheehee, Joe by your own posting you no longer play much at all, the only reason you are still here is you are so invested in the game ending that you just have to be here on the last day so you can say, see see, I was right.
This 'summer child' has played continuously since 2014 and I have seen periods with lots of events and competition and some with not so much. But I have never had a day where I could not find an enjoyable way to spend my time.
Should the day come where I no longer enjoy the game. I will find some other activity to spend my time on. I certainly won't spend it dumping my negativity over and over again in a chat forum while carrying on about the good old days.
If the game is not working for you anymore. Show a little class, say goodbye and leave the building. We'll be sure to miss you when we are not having fun.
Re: Imgress black ingress logo
That is the battery saving feature, it can be turned off in Ingress' settings.
It should only trigger when you hold your phone downward.
Seems like your sensors are misbehaving
Removing POI on "restricted property"?
In the neighboring town, there are a pair of POI located on a private residential condo complex. The entire perimeter of the property is enclosed by a tall fence covered in "private property", "No Trespassing", "24 Hour Surveillance" and "Trespassers will be prosecuted." These POI were created by a player whom lives in the complex, and is incredibly territorial about them. When other players have interacted with them, they have received threatening messages in local chat groups threatening to have law enforcement called for trespassing (messages have since been taken down). These portals constitute a point of contention and harassment in the local community, and it is unfair to players who happen to stumble upon these portals unaware of the vitriol they are going to encounter. There are other portals in the nearby community, this person's entitlement to needing to have POI they can reach from their couch only seems to cause consternation in the local community. Several people have reported the POI via Ingress, but have received denial messages. Is there any manner in which we can escalate this issue to have it resolved at a higher level? Thank you for any assistance you can provide.

Re: Tumbleweed and the dusty road...
Sounds like some long term players have burned out on the game but want the decision to quit to be forced on them by shutting down the game because they can't do it for themselves. Kind of sad really. But don't take away something others are actively enjoying because you have lost interest. Instead, go find something else to do.
Re: Cryptic Memories: Global Op [Discussion]

Re: Israel - Palestine.
Keep your politics out of the game...
Not needed and certainly not wanted!
Re: Cryptic Memories: Global Op [Discussion]
What Niantic means is that this event will award a different medal than for the Anomaly with the same name. The phrase "participation in this operation alone" does not mean that agents cannot be alone, but that just participating in this event wont award you the Anomaly medal, only the event medal.
