Re: What’s the point in playing when…
Yeah, part of the reason I've all but quit playing. Being stalked, personal information shared in chats and accused of cheating because I happen to be in the area isn't what I signed up for. So now I play when I want and ignore any invitations to chat by either faction. I want nothing to do with the community aspect of this game, nothing but drama and problems.

Oooo, an official press release. Umm, news flash, the game has changed. Get on board or find something you like to do.
Re: What’s the point in playing when…
@joecain, I agree with your view. In addition, the game has been stagnant and unappealing to new players because of the drama and bullying from other players. It seems like new players don't have a choice but to subscribe to a certain membership in a community with doubts that all its members have clear background checks. I am not saying that all players are bad, but there are a few petty and rotten apples out there. Anyway, I destroy portals and deploy resonators and mods to free my inventory space nowadays and stay away from drama and questionable characters out there.

Re: Allowing Links Shorter than 2000m Under Fields [Discussion]
You’d have preferred 8km to stay?
Re: Allowing Links Shorter than 2000m Under Fields [Discussion]
Also, I'll still add that it would be nice if in the key carousel they showed a list of keys you could normally link to, but put a lock over them and when the player scrolls to the portal key, a red message stating "LINK DISTANCE SUPPRESSED UNDER FIELDS, click here for more info". The more info button brings up a short explanation that to clear the suppression, the fields above them must be clear. Then give a link out to the intel map showing the field(s) in question.
There's not enough engagement for new players to understand there's an intel map to track and play with. This would be a good segue opportunity.
Re: What are your ideas for potential FitRep rewards?
+ a 100km or more tiers.
56km a week is really a minimum someone should walk
Re: What are your ideas for potential FitRep rewards?
He thinks everyone lives in a city with 3 mil portals and have unlimited time to play.
