Re: Unintended Change of Ingress Damage Report Mail Address
I have also experiencing this issue since the Ingress Damage Report Mail has been starting send to my email at 4th Feb., which I've already unchecked the sending mail option and unlinked the account for couple of years. To examinate the unlink, in case of any glitch to the system, I link the account again and the system keeps sending the mail even the check button stays unchecked.
This is kinda annoying and abusing my eamil account, the current only workaround is report mails nianticlabs.com as spam so it doesn't bother me. It has been over 1,200 mails since 4th Feb....
Ingress is no fun since quantum capsules were eliminated.
Since quantum capsules were gone my wife and I almost don't play anymore.
The worst think about playing Ingress is the thousands of miles driving around getting keys and hacking portals. I am sure it is more fun in a city but we live in a small town where we have to drive to play. Quantum capsules were great as keys and other items, especially power cubes would multiply. Now that they are gone our inventory is next to nothing so we both cancelled our C.O.R.E. subscriptions.
The kinetic capsules are almost useless as they don't even give power cubes and you have to get rid of things you need and if you even have inventory to swap you have to wait to get whatever.
We would probably start playing again and get C.O.R.E. back if quantum capsules were back.
Re: The single mission bounty is not a very good task.
Yesterday was the second time I've gotten it, and I've easily done a mission both times.
I think that a better subject line for this discussion would have been, "The single mission bounty is not a very good task for some people".
Re: Bounty Suggestions NOT ABOUT MISSIONS
Many veterans here forget that Ingress missions are not a game of lining up beautiful banners.
Re: Research Bounties activated
I am enjoying bounties. I am relieved to hear that the mission task will not be required to be a mission being completed, although I think this is a poor choice of task that relies on a previous player having gone out of their way to make a mission in your area, so favours cities ahead of rural players.
Good tasks for this are portal hacking, glyph points, capturing, resonator and mod deployment, linking, fielding, recharging threshold, resonator destruction, mod destruction, enemy field destruction, Kinetic capsule claim.
The only bad task implemented for bounties is doing a mission. MU threshold tasks, walking and scanning would also be bad and should please be kept off the bounty task rotation.
I think the rewards of L7 gear are correct. If you want L8 gear you need friends who also play ingress.
Re: The single mission bounty is not a very good task.
Why should someone make low-effort missions just to pass a bounty u should be able to remove or switch for something else? makes no sense
Re: The single mission bounty is not a very good task.
I'm simply not doing the mission tasks at the moment, because I'm halfway through a banner and it's a road trip to complete that banner. Same as I couldn't destroy 2 enemy links yesterday, as I wasn't going within 30km of any.
Re: The single mission bounty is not a very good task.
@VenomousToad It's a big deal not because it's hard, but because a few people want to keep their mission badges in a particular configuration. To me that seems like a personal choice rather than a problem with the task.
Re: The single mission bounty is not a very good task.
Single mission is pretty easy. Do you know that you can create your own missions? Make one that's easy to do and finish it every time. Not sure why that's a big deal.
