Re: Bounty Suggestions NOT ABOUT MISSIONS
You mean like the AP from overclocking shows but you're usually in the glyph menu when it's done. If you leave that menu after finishing the sequence, the AP for each hack is shown 4 times.
Re: Bounty Suggestions NOT ABOUT MISSIONS
When you collect the AP Bounty, the "+2000AP" (or 5, or 7) should float up your screen - like the "+500AP" for uploading a scan, or "+1000AP" for getting the key for a nomination.
It does, but it is so fast and plays while you are still in the menu that it is almost never seen. You need to quit the screen the instant the AP is claimed, then you'll see the AP flying up.
Passcodes that have AP still get an "item popup" as if you just hacked an item showing you how much AP you got, so one idea could be to add the AP to the "Bounty Completed" box you get for the item rewards.
EDIT: What I mean:
Shard Night was a ton of fun!
I attended the Shard Night in Bielefeld, Germany today and honestly speaking, I think it legitimately was the most fun I had during an "anomaly"! Without divulging too much cause of OpSec, the event was a lot less stressful than normal anomalies and having it only be an hour also helped in not running out of gear or getting too bored. With the smaller scale it also really felt like your actions made a difference, especially if you just threw the link that the Shard travels through or took the portal down just in time to prevent the jump.
One thing I'd love to have changed though is the way you ultimately get the badge in the end. While it wasn't a problem for me and my team, we had at least one Agent that couldn't get it because all the Battle Beacons were already fully charged and upgraded so they couldn't get their interaction in. Adding a simple hack as an interaction would ensure that everyone get the badge :)
Re: Ingress: The Animation Character Badges revealed
Does a new series of the anime not count as advertising it? I’m sure that was the point of releasing the anime at the same time as Prime came out (which then didn’t happen).
February 2024 Second Sunday
Agents from around the world in the Second Sunday TG group shared their experiences and photographs of places visited, missions completed, medals achieved and fun food consumed. This month for our fun food stat we had a suggested theme of Chinese New Year, Shrove Tuesday (pancake day) and Valentine’s Day.
51 members of the group (27 RES, 24 ENL) also joined the optional competition, walking an amazing 563 km (318 RES 245 ENL) completing 588 missions (RES 320 ENL 268) earning 18.2 million AP (RES 12.3M ENL 5.9M) and recharging 28.8 million XM (17M RES and 11.8M ENL). There was a noticeable increase in activity this month.
Agents captured 3,831 portals (2,175 RES 1,656 ENL), destroyed 19,532 resonators (RES 10,865 ENL 8,667) created 1,545 control fields (1,299 RES 246 ENL) and 2,854 links (2,278 RES 576 ENL).
Agents explored new places for Second Sunday, visiting 2,163 unique portals (RES 878 ENL 1,285). Big congrats to the agent who attained their 150,000th unique portal visited (Onyx Explorer x5) during Second Sunday!
There was some speculation whether the format of future Second Sundays might change, perhaps utilising the new bounties feature. In the meantime, we look forward to March Second Sunday.
Re: Cannot find IFS badge and stats everywhere
Each IFS badge push takes some time to process, mostly around 2 weeks or so. If last weeks First Saturday was your first ever, you'll likely see the badge unlocked around next week.
Others may have the badge from an earlier First Saturday, which is why you're seeing it in their profile.

Re: Ingress: The Animation Character Badges revealed
It didn't advertise ****. The anime was boring. I never watched all of it. People who did watch it, didn't start playing Ingress. Waste of money. They should of done that when they were still part of Google.
