Re: Some Overclock feedback
From what I've seen, once activated, they always start at fair, took a few hours before some of them switched to good, probably some manual checks done by Niantic

Re: Some Overclock feedback
Would be nice to have training mode. Enter "simple" or similar command, less items, give 5 minutes to play with the cube angles.
Re: Update on Game Latency, Missing Wayspots, and the Roadmap
It’s crazy. So many issues, so many complaints, so many topic; but 0 action.
still no communication, no updates, yet the latency continues. Even ruined the kureze events imho.

Re: Rainbow XM plagues our vision
Regardless of if you are for or against the multi color xm, I love tie dye and disco so am grooving on it, I am glad they seem to have turned down the intensity this year. It seems much less overwhelming this time.
Re: New feature - Overclock
This information actually has no reason to be on the Intel Map.
It is visible on the wayfarer app.
it would be nice though to see on the Intel Map what portals are VPS enabled

Portal Burnout & Hack Cooldown should be part of the Intel Map
I appreciate that the cooldowns inside the scanner app are now showing the exact values not just "come back later " and "about 4 minutes".
I would appreciate it if your personal cooldown for portal hacks would be shown on the intel map.
Maybe make it a core agent feature or limit it to portals that you scout controlled/hacked/captured if you think it is too powerful or should be an incentive for more activity, but i think data that is available in the scanner should be mostly part of the map too so you can plan your activities on a larger screen and be notified when its time to come back

Re: New feature - Overclock
Just went and tried this and I dunno if I’m doing it right or wrong, but it’s so hard to see anything when the box is floating like five feet in the air. Too low to get under it and too high to get above it. I’m sure it’ll get easier over time, but whatever.
im honestly curious if this is just another way to get scans. Is the phone recording any of the data as you’re attempting to figure out these glyphs?
Re: Rainbow XM plagues our vision
Not too thrilled about it either.. the colors look just.. stupid in a sci-fi game. And I'm not convinced a few colors on the ground will help move society to acceptance, actually.
It's ironic, by the way, that @DSkatauri 's post was censored for using the very term that Niantic apparently is supporting by coloring the ground in their game... :)

Re: New feature - Overclock
Based on initial testing it just seems like a way to stack up to 4 hacks into a single overclocked hack. It consumes up to 4 hacks (depending on the remaining hacks you have) on the portal and thus causes an un-modded portal to burn out after one overclocked hack. MH/HS can be used to increase/reset the hack count as usual.
The glyphs are displayed inside a 3D cube and to be frank it is kinda difficult to recognize them even as someone with close to 100 onyx translator badges. The glyph also doesn't seem to be oriented so it is impossible to tell glyphs like "past" and "future" from each other without context. The time limit is also way too short: 17s for a P8 5-glyph sequence, which includes the time trying to comprehend what the heck you are looking at and actually drawing the glyph (and displaying all of the flashy animation).
The good thing is that it reuses the existing sequences so you can ignore the rest if you can infer the pattern from the first few glyphs. During the few dozen hacks I also encountered several issues like the cube disappearing due to bad AR positioning or extra thin glyph lines that make them almost impossible to see.
The hack output seems to be about the same as if you just hack the portal 4 times individually. Overall I think it is barely worth the extra effort unless you can't spend time waiting for cooldown on a portal.

Re: Some Overclock feedback
Dear @NianticBrian @NianticOfficial
Right now, overclock has a serious time issue 😅
I tried a lv8 Portal today (glyph pro, knowing every sentence). I got the first 2 right away - present & Chaos.
Create took me 3-4 seconds because of the bad angle I started with... But I was not even able to draw create anymore - time was up... 🤦
How about splitting the times in 2 systems?!
Watchtime: you only get certain Seconds to watch a 3D glyph - time decreases as lv rises...
Glyphtime: when entering the "drawing table" the glyphtime starts - and automatically ends when glyph is finished...
Then the next watchtime will start...
We would need like at least 4-5 seconds to watch for every glyph - even at a P8... 15 sec for drawing can stay 😅
If you see the 3D glyph after 1 sec already - you could still switch to drawing and add the remaining watchtime to the time Bonus 😏😉
Just an Idea 😇✌️
