Re: A Machina Report – Introducing the new "Reclaimer” Medal [Discussion]
Got 13 points this evening in a park. Unless they crank Machina up, loads of agents are going to be vastly disappointed.
If they crank it up too high too fast, other parts of the game begins to break.
Re: A Toggle for "nearby" portals to show either neutral, enlightened, resistance or machina portals.
The "nearby portals" boxes do not work correctly at the moment - there's no chance of implementing selected nearby portals until that's fixed.
(By "do not work correctly" I mean that they don't show the nearest portals - more often than not, they show portals that you've ever had a key for in preference to portals that are actually nearby.)

Re: Red Portals for Year 10 - Machina - PvE
this bloody spoofer should stop with his nonsense. Thanks support for sending me again here, why waste time and gas against a spoofer? Niantic vs player event.. most stupid idea ever.
Re: Niantic should really lower the limit for speed lock (Why is it as high as 60kmph?)
Any chance they have a car and you don't so you are upset at the perceived inequality?
Re: Mass changes to portal coordinates by tiny increments
NIA why you gotta break everything that's working just fine? You broke ugprades in Wayfarer and now you broke this. Really interesting to know how you managed this, did some dunce change the floor/ceil function and just go "Well let's just move this into production, it's weekend, what could possibly go wrong?" or how do things like this happen? Re: Niantic should really lower the limit for speed lock (Why is it as high as 60kmph?)
Niantic changed the speed lock to help those that drive or ride and play. Some people only drive and play. It helps them to keep them playing. They don't want to lose those players.
Machina layered fields change
It appears machina now respects not crossing links from what I can see.
I think we should see a compromise and let machina cross links, ONLY if a field is layered. So it will never exceed the last layer, but it will escape the inner layers. This adds some strategic use of Machina by players to force rebuilds of inner layers to be more difficult.
Re: Mass changes to portal coordinates by tiny increments
Why not just move the links to the new portal location?
Re: After all, what is the function of Machina?
I would prefer that Machina could infect neutral portals blocked by a link, but that it just gets infected without a cross link.
I also think it should be able to infect blue/green portals that are, for example, unshielded or not fully deployed.
Perhaps they could occasionally attack nearby green/blue portal with a random chance of removing a shield. It could continue these occasional (perhaps daily) attacks until it’s unshielded, after which each attack has a random chance of removing the lowest resonator. Eventually, it could capture the portal if it’s never repaired. Attack frequency can be dialed up and down for events etc. Maybe it should only be able to do this if there are neutral portals to infect in range.
