Why should someone make low-effort missions just to pass a bounty u should be able to remove or switch for something else? makes no sense
I like the idea of bounties (it certainly gets me playing more), but I don't like mission ones.
Aww man, you can still play the free way. Raise portals in your town with your wife and farm items, this is also a fun part of the game... it's not meant to be easy. But you can (and I advise you to do so) gather with other players, recruit them in your town, show them the fun of playing and you also might get to hold an IFS.
Yesterday was the second time I've gotten it, and I've easily done a mission both times.
I think that a better subject line for this discussion would have been, "The single mission bounty is not a very good task for some people".
Today is the 4th time I've gotten it, and the 4th time I'll be skipping it.
I'm simply not doing the mission tasks at the moment, because I'm halfway through a banner and it's a road trip to complete that banner. Same as I couldn't destroy 2 enemy links yesterday, as I wasn't going within 30km of any.
Today all the stuck portals I know of started to decay again.
@Grogyan There's nothing in Ingress that mandates that you do six missions... that's a personal preference. I think a minority of players (though perhaps a higher percentage of vocal players) have that preference. I regularly look at profiles and check out missions and most people have a random assortment of missions rather than stacks of banners.
If that's your preference then it's easy enough to just not do that task, yes?
@NianticBrian Bounties reset after reinstalling the game!
Or you know, just do a mission. They are easy to make, easy to do. I have a bunch in a park near me. I just redo my last mission.
